Database Administrator (SQL / ERP) — Ras Al Khaimah

🔹 *KEY REQUIREMENTS*

* *10+ years* of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration.

* Strong expertise in *Epicor ERP*, Engineering (PED), and HR system management/integrations.

* Proven track record in SQL Server health monitoring, performance tuning, indexing, and backup/recovery strategies.

* Practical experience with *HA/DR mechanisms* (Failover, High Availability, Disaster Recovery testing).

* Proficiency in developing and optimizing *T-SQL queries*, stored procedures, and execution plans.

* Experience in system integrations, data migration, capacity planning, and security audits.

* Ability to provide real-time support to business users and perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.

* Strong knowledge of server maintenance, patching, version upgrades, and database consistency checks (DBCC).

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage after-hours support when needed.

💼 *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*

Greenfield SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Epicor-9 ERP Management.

* Administer, optimize, and maintain MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and data integrity.

* Monitor SQL Server health (CPU, Memory, Disk I/O, wait stats) and manage Task Agent workloads.

* Execute daily, weekly, and monthly backup/restore validations, DR simulations, and index maintenance.

* Resolve user-reported application/database issues and support major ERP/digital transformation projects.

* Manage database security, access controls, permissions, and compliance standards.
