Digital Transformation Manager — Jeddah

ALJ Logistics operates within Abdul Latif Jameel's transportation business, focusing on logistics operations and commercial services. Its activities include freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, customs coordination, and cross-border logistics.

Role Purpose:

Lead the design and delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the logistics business, improving operational visibility, customer experience, productivity, data quality, and integration across freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and commercial functions.

Key Activities:

Develop and maintain the logistics digital transformation roadmap aligned with business strategy and enterprise technology standards.

Lead the business design, implementation, adoption, and benefits realization of digital platforms and automation initiatives. Provide concise progress, budget, risk, adoption, and benefit-realization reports to governance committees.

Translate operational and customer requirements into clear business cases, functional requirements, process designs, and delivery priorities. Manage vendors and partners through clear deliverables, service levels, and escalation mechanisms.

Coordinate implementation partners, technology teams, vendors, and business owners to deliver approved initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.

Establish project governance, risk controls, change management, user training, and post-implementation performance tracking. Promote data-driven decision making and ensure digital solutions support information security, privacy, and business continuity requirements. Identify and evaluate automation, AI, IoT, analytics, customer portal, and integration opportunities relevant to logistics operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Minimum 8 years of experience in digital transformation, technology-enabled change, or business systems.

At least 3 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects.

Certification in PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation is preferred.

Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
