HSE Engineer — Abu Dhabi

* Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures at project sites.

* Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company requirements, and project safety standards.

* Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.

* Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

* Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports, and safety documentation.

* Monitor safe working practices for electrical, excavation, cable laying, cable pulling, and other infrastructure activities.

* Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding HSE requirements.

* Ensure compliance with TAQA project safety requirements and standards.

* Investigate incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.

* Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for employees and workers.

* Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work procedures at site.

Skills

* Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, HSE, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

* NEBOSH certification is mandatory.

* Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an HSE Engineer/Officer.

* Previous experience working on TAQA projects is mandatory/preferred.

* Experience in electrical/infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

* Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and site safety practices.

* Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage site HSE requirements effectively.

* UAE experience is mandatory.

* Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
